  • Pre-start mobilisation period for Ground Investigation contacts on the River Carron and Lower Grange Burn.
  • Meeting with Historic Environment Scotland to discuss options following the model extension and site visit.

  • Commence Ground Investigation Works Part A - Lower River Carron / Lower Grange Burn.
  • Receive feedback from Historic Environment Scotland on Cell 4 options.

  • Commence Ground Investigation Works Part B - River Carron.

  • Project team met with the Scottish Government and SEPA to provide an update on the scheme

May 2019

  • Project team met with Marine Scotland to discuss consenting of the scheme under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010
  • Public drop in session took place on 28 May 2019- Carron and Carronshore Bowling Club - 11:00am to 7:30pm
  • Public drop in session took place on 30 May 2019 - Bowhouse Community Centre - 11:00am to 7:30pm

June 2019

  • Ground investigation field works ongoing for phase 4 in the upper and lower Carron areas
  • Procurement of phase 5 ground investigation ongoing with fieldworks due to commence in August 2019
  • Environmental impact assessment ongoing.

July 2019

  • Fieldworks for ground investigation phase 4 contract completed
  • Procurement of phase 5 ground investigation ongoing with fieldworks due to commence in August 2019
  • Environmental impact assessment ongoing.

August 2019

  • Fieldworks for ground investigation phase 5 contract commenced within the Port of Grangemouth
  • Procurement of phase 6 ground investigation contract commenced.
